How to Apply
Letter of Inquiry
An initial letter of inquiry (LOI), no longer than two pages including a description of the organization, the project, its goals and objectives, other potential funders and a preliminary budget are required before a formal application would be considered. If the project meets the Foundation's criteria, a site visit will be scheduled following which, the organization may be invited to submit a formal proposal.
The letter of inquiry may be e-mailed to the appropriate person in New York and/or Boston

We no longer require or accept hard copies.
Proposals
Grants are reviewed three times a year: April, September and December. The deadline for each cycle is March 15, August 15 and November 15.
Proposals must be submitted electronically using forms provided under “Forms” on our website.
Completed application must include the following:

Cover Page & Narrative (New, Annual Report/Renewal or Mid-Year Report)

Budget
-
Data Forms for programs serving people with disabilities

Audited financials
-
Copy of 501(c)(3) authorization letter

Annual Report
-
List of Board of Directors
