Disabilities

Funding focuses on after school, summer, vacation and work readiness programs that provide educational, social and recreational opportunities for participants with disabilities. The Foundation encourages projects that enhance interaction with the community; that empower individuals and their families to become better advocates for their loved ones; and that provide respite opportunities for families. To insure optimal outcomes, professional development is essential for staff working with people with disabilities and their families.

Youth Development

Funding supports comprehensive, long term after-school and summer programs for youth from under-resourced communities that enhance self-esteem, build competencies, encourage continued education and provide opportunities for youth to reach their potential. Programs that include mentoring and educational supports, leadership development skills, community involvement and/or internships opportunities are encouraged.

Direct Service programs that offer opportunities for personal growth are integral to the Foundation's mission.
