Organizations must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation ONLY supports programs in the New York Metropolitan and Boston Areas.

Grants to capital campaigns, endowments and research projects are generally not considered.

Individuals, annual giving programs, educational institutions or religious organizations are not eligible.

Grants are generally awarded for one year. Occasionally the Foundation will consider multi-year grants.

All grants are subject to yearly review.

The Foundation values long-term relationships and long-term engagement with our funding partners.  After several years of support, we do encourage our partners to look for additional funding for successful projects so that we can then provide seed money for new projects.
